Savelife House is an independent, no-cost supportive transitional housing program for adults transitioning from incarceration, homelessness, or substance use recovery. Residents are required to participate in an approved outpatient program, which may be coordinated through affiliated treatment providers, including Orbit Behavioral Health & Wellness. Savelife House is supported by a dedicated House Manager responsible for daily operations, resident accountability, safety, and coordination with referring partners. The House Manager ensures compliance with house rules, supports structured living, and serves as a point of contact for approved referrals and case managers.

Eligibility & Admissions

Savelife House serves adults age 18 and older who are seeking a safe, supportive, and structured living environment and who are willing to comply with program expectations. New residents should bring valid identification, personal belongings, prescribed medications, and any relevant referral or discharge documentation at the time of admission.

  • Be able to live safely in a shared housing environment
  • Be willing to follow house structure and program rules
  • Commit to maintaining a drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle
  • Participate in treatment, employment, school, or approved daily programming
  • Meet screening requirements, program fit standards, and bed availability criteria

What is Savelife House?
Savelife House is a supportive transitional housing program for adults who are reentering the community, experiencing homelessness, or recovering from substance use. The program provides structured housing combined with required outpatient treatment participation.
Is there a cost for housing?
No. Housing is provided at no cost to residents. There is no rent charged for participation in the program.
Is treatment required to stay at Savelife House?
Yes. All residents must participate in an approved outpatient treatment program, such as Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), as a condition of residency.
Does insurance pay for housing?
No. Insurance does not pay for housing. Insurance is used only for required clinical or supportive services, such as outpatient treatment.
What insurance is accepted?
We accept AHCCCS (AIHP) and private insurance such as BCBS. Individuals without active insurance may still be considered if they are AIHP - or BCBS-eligible.
What if a client has no active insurance?
Individuals without active insurance, including those recently released from incarceration or with expired coverage, may be admitted if they are eligible. Insurance enrollment or reactivation is coordinated through an approved AHCCCS assessor via the referring clinic.
Who can refer to Savelife House?
Referrals are accepted from approved partners, including case managers, courts, probation/parole officers, hospitals, treatment providers, and reentry programs
How long can someone stay at Savelife House?
The standard length of stay is up to 3 months. Extensions may be considered based on compliance, progress, and program availability
Is Savelife House a landlord-tenant program?
No. Savelife House is a supportive transitional program and does not operate under a traditional landlord-tenant relationship.
Are justice-involved individuals accepted?
Yes. Individuals recently released from jail or prison, or those involved with the justice system, may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Is the house supervised?
Yes. The program is overseen by a House Manager who provides daily structure, accountability, safety oversight, and coordination with referring partners.
Are drugs and alcohol allowed?
No. Savelife House is a structured, recovery-oriented environment. Substance use is not permitted.
What happens if a resident does not follow the rules or attend treatment?
Failure to comply with house rules or required treatment participation may result in corrective action or discharge from the program.
What documents are required for admission?
